Design

The Tiftö Design Collection regroups iconic works by Finnish designers from the time pre-dating the 1917 Finnish independence up until the modern day. The collection includes furniture, glass, ceramics, textiles, lamps and decorative art as well as art jewelry. The collection is representative, but by no means historically exhaustive, as it portrays the personal taste and choices of Rafaela Seppälä. Highlights include exquisite pieces from Eliel Saarinen´s Suur-Merijoki Manor in Carelia, Paavo Tynell´s delightful lighting fixtures and an array of unique pieces from masters such as Alvar Aalto, Harri Koskinen, Timo Sarpaneva and Tapio Wirkkala.
